Cardi B has issued a harsh reality check to people in Georgia after the governor announced that gyms, barbers, hairdressers, nail salons, and more can reopen at the end of the week.
When Baller Alert informed its Instagram followers of Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s decision amid the coronavirus pandemic, Cardi sounded off in the comments, writing:
“I just want to let people DONT GO AROUND YOUR PARENTS OR GRANDPARENTS! Once there sick and in the hospital wit covid you won’t be able to see how and what they treating them with. They will literally have them die slow !They are not nurturing covid patience with the proper foods ,tea to boost their immunes.STRAIGHT MEDICATION !Your parents , grandparents or YOU will most likely pass by yourself in a cold hospital with no physical contact with your love ones .HEALTH OVER CAPITALISM!”
Kemp claims that the state will instruct businesses to uphold social distancing and health guidelines. He also alleges that Georgia is ready for Phase One of the U.S. government’s three-phase plan to restore the economy, due to the state’s testing availability, hospital capacity, and contact tracing of the virus. However, Kemp’s strategy to allow non-essential businesses to open their doors seems premature, as May 1 is the proposed starting date for the first phase.
