UPDATED 4:30 p.m. ET: Cardi B pleaded not guilty to all charges on Tuesday. Her exact words, per Reuters, were, “Not guilty sir, honor."

Cardi reportedly opted not to have the charges listed aloud. “Her attorney said that would not be necessary,” TMZ writes.

Even though Cardi B was indicted by a Queens grand jury on Friday, the rapper doesn’t believe she’ll go to jail, Page Six reports.

On Saturday, Cardi told fans at an L.A. concert, “Fuck you mean? I ain’t going to jail, I got a daughter!” Her and Offset's first child, daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus was born last July.

The Bronx native faces 14 charges, including misdemeanor reckless endangerment, criminal solicitation, conspiracy, harassment, and assault, as well as two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. Previously, Cardi rejected a plea deal in connection with the incident, which—as mentioned in previous reports—revolves around two women who claim to have sustained injuries during a fight they allege began because of a request from Cardi.

Cardi B topped the list of BET Awards nominations with seven nods, ultimately winning Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and Album of the Year. She was nominated for 2019 Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award, and had two nominations in both the Best Collaboration and Video of the Year categories.

Last Thursday, she was also honored with the Songwriter of the Year award at ASCAP's Rhythm & Soul Music Awards in Beverly Hills. “[With] everybody saying I'm not this or that, sometimes I gotta see it and feel it for myself because it's hard,” Cardi said when accepting the award, per Billboard. “Everybody always wants to say I made it because of this or made it because of that. I made it because I worked my ass off.”
