Bruno Mars is still having fun with rumors he’s in debt due to gambling.

On Monday, Mars took to Instagram to share a clip from his appearance at ROSÉ's Los Angeles show, writing, “Almost out of debt BehhhhhBehhhhh!!!” before giving a shout-out to the Blackpink singer, “Preciate You ROSAAAAYYYYYY!!!!”

The pair performed their 2024 chart-topping song “Apt.” together.

Mars has been running with the joke about his alleged debt since last March, when the rumors initially surfaced. At the time, an insider told NewsNation that the “Uptown Funk” singer “owed millions to the MGM.”

“[MGM] basically own him. He makes $90 million a year off of the deal he did with the casino, but then he has to pay back his debt,” the insider claimed at the time.

However, MGM later denied the claims.

"We’re proud of our relationship with Bruno Mars, one of the world’s most thrilling and dynamic performers," MGM wrote in a statement provided to Complex. "From his shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM to the new Pinky Ring lounge at Bellagio, Bruno’s brand of entertainment attracts visitors from around the globe. MGM and Bruno's partnership is longstanding and rooted in mutual respect."

The statement continues: "Any speculation otherwise is completely false; he has no debt with MGM. Together, we are excited to continue creating unforgettable experiences for our guests."

Still, Mars has continued to joke about the gambling speculation. In January, during the arrival of his new song “Fat Juicy & Wet” with Sexyy Red, the 15-time Grammy winner urged fans to “keep streaming” the song.

“I’ll be out of debt in no time,” he quipped.

In April, the 24K Magic artist announced nine new Las Vegas performances set for August (22, 23, 26, 27, 30, 31) and September (3, 5, 6). Mars began his residency at the Park MGM in 2016 and has since played over 100 shows in the past nine years.

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
