Boosie Badazz has responded to Kodak Black’s “Christmas Eve” diss.
Boosie took to X on Thursday night (Jan. 8), calling Yak a “clout chasing crackhead,” among other things.
“U wait until the day before I go to court to drop a weak ass diss song. Lol U A #CCCH (Clout Chasing Crackhead),” Boosie tweeted. “U know what I got going and you do this day before court. 100% you are a clown. Its still not go get people to fuck people with your music.”
“When was the last time you heard somebody say ‘put on that new Kodak,’” Boosie continued. “You done bra. Your career is over!! Your music is trash and your looks are even worst. Only time you were relevant when you mentioned me. You still mad you did that song and I blowed you down. You can't take that back!!”
Boosie’s clap back arrives after Kodak dropped the YouTube track, “Christmas Eve,” the same day. In the song, Kodak raps, “Fuck that lame n***a Boosie/Looking down on a young n***a getting skrilla/I used to look up to Boosie, he hate I got more bread that old head stupid.”
The two rappers started feuding in July 2023 after Boosie slammed Kodak for collaborating with 6ix9ine on the song "Shaka Laka." “This n***a ain't got no morals, don't got no principles. Damn, I thought that little n***a was like that. N***a ain't no street n***a at all. Damn,” Boosie said on Instagram Live.
“No loyalty to no principles over money, man. Money can make you do anything, bro. The biggest rat in the world,” Boosie added. His “rat” comment references Tekashi snitching when he ratted out his associates in his federal racketeering and firearms case in 2019.
When Kodak caught wind of Boosie’s comments, the Florida rapper reposted a video that called Boosie a “clown” and a hypocrite. In August 2023, Boosie blasted Kodak on the diss track, “Ungrateful.”
