No one has forgotten that B.o.B’s believes the Earth is flat.

The “Nothin’ on You” rapper sat down with Hot 97’s Nessa, who asked about the fallout after the publicly declared that he believes the Earth is flat in 2016.

“I had no idea about the virality,” he told her at around the 27-minute, 55-second mark of the video below.

“I really didn’t think anybody cared,” he continued. “I kind of compare it to people talking about Bigfoot or Lochness Monster, UFOs. … Some stuff is lore, some stuff is conspiracy, but some stuff has some valid connection to culture. … Definitely had no idea it would be so controversial.”

B.o.B described the incident as a “blind spot,” explaining that some venues barred him from performing because they were “concerned about the controversy.”

When Nessa asked if he is still a flat Earther, he said with a laugh, “I’m so beyond that argument. I feel like it really doesn’t matter if it’s shaped like a U or a V.”

In January 2016, B.o.B tweeted that the Earth is flat and said he had photographic evidence and mathematical equations to prove it.

“If my words didn’t hold any weight, my account wouldn’t be censored,” the Atlanta rapper wrote at the time. “Don’t try to back me into the ‘conspiracy theorist’ corner… don’t be fooled. I speak from personal experience.”

According to CNN, he told his 2.3 million followers at the time that he “didn’t wanna believe it either.” He then laid out his theory, saying that if the world was round, you could tell when looking at the horizon because cities in the distance would be hidden by the curvature of the Earth.

In photos he shared, taken at a high altitude, he said, “No matter how high in elevation you are… the horizon is always eye level.”

Legendary astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson debunked B.o.B's claims in a series of tweets.

“Earth's curve indeed blocks 150 (not 170) ft of Manhattan. But most buildings in midtown are waaay taller than that," Tyson said. “Dude—to be clear: Being five centuries regressed in your reasoning doesn’t mean we all can’t still like your music.”
