Lo Kee Restaurant honored Zaytoven and ATL Jacob for Black Music Month.

On Thursday (June 11), the eatery hosted a private dinner to celebrate the Atlanta producers with a special appearance from Mike-Will-Made-It.

Guests dined on Lo Kee’s signature dishes like jumbo salt and pepper prawns and vegetable lo mein while listening to some of the biggest records produced and written by Zay and Jacob.

“At Lo Kee, we wanted to create an experience that celebrates the hitmakers behind the music and the visionaries who help shape culture,” the restaurant’s co-founder, Dara Mirjahangiry, said in a statement. “Atlanta has such a powerful creative community, and honoring ATL Jacob, Sean Garrett, and Zaytoven during Black Music Month felt like the perfect way to celebrate the producers whose music continues to influence culture today.”

Last October, the owners of New York City celebrity hotspot, Sei Less, launched Lo Kee in Atlanta. Based in the West Midtown neighborhood, the new restaurant by co-founders Mirjahangiry and Ivi Shano combines Asian fusion cuisine with Southern comfort food.

In addition to celebrating Black Music Month, Lo Kee hosted a Women’s History Month activation in March featuring a prix-fixe menu honoring influential Atlanta women including Latto, Ciara, Monica, Mariah the Scientist, Tamar Braxton, and NeNe Leakes.
