It appears Young Thug is having a rough time behind bars.

According to TMZ, the rapper’s lawyer filed an emergency motion on Friday seeking his client’s immediate release. Attorney Brian Steel told the court the 30-year-old artist—legal name Jeffery Williams—was being subjected to “dungeon-like” jail conditions that violate Thug’s Constitutional rights. He specifically points to the Eighth Amendment, which protects inmates from cruel and unusual punishment.

In the motion, which was also obtained by Rolling Stone, Steel claims Thug remains in solitary confinement in a “windowless cement compartment with only a bed and a toilet and an overhead light which remains on 24 hours per day.” He also says his client has “no opportunity to exercise, shower or have human contact.”

Thug was arrested at his Atlanta mansion on Monday for allegedly violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute. Gunna and 26 other associates were also named in the 88-page indictment, which details gang-related crimes allegedly committed by YSL (Young Slime Life).

Shortly after his arrest, Thugger was hit with additional felony counts stemming from the Monday raid on his home. The new charges include possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of firearm during commission of a felony, possession of sawed-off-shotgun, and three charges of unlawful participation in criminal gang activity while employed by/associated with a criminal street gang.
