Vic Mensa, G-Eazy, and Marshmello Connect on New Track "Reverse"

"Produced something for my bro’s," Marshmello explained ahead of the release of "Reverse," which finds Vic Mensa and G-Eazy collaborating on a new banger for the clubs.

UPDATE 8/6/18: You can now watch the track's official video up top.

See original story below.

It’s been a busy season for G-Eazy.

Since wrapping up The Beautiful & Damned Tour several weeks ago, the Oakland rapper/producer has blessed fans with a handful of releases, including his three-track EP The Vault as well as “Go BestFriend 2.0” with Casanova and Rich the Kid.

On Thursday, G-Eazy continued his new music streak with a guest appearance on “Reverse,” a new collaborative cut with Vic Mensa and EDM superstar Marshmello.

All three artists teased the single earlier this week on social media, posting a screenshot of a recent group text.

Though Marshmello confirmed he handled the cut's production, he did not reveal where it would land. Is “Reverse” a standalone track? Do G-Eazy and Vic Mensa have something up their sleeves? Or is this another single off Marsmello's forthcoming Joytime II album? We'll just have to wait and see.

Vic also stopped by Peter Rosenberg's Complex show Open Late:

You can stream “Reverse” now on all major platforms, including Apple Music/iTunes and via Spotify below.
