The sold-out events are going down on Saturday and Sunday, exactly nine months after a crowd surge at Astroworld Festival left 10 people dead.

Travis Scott is back to headlining.

On Saturday night, the Grammy-nominated rapper took the stage at London’s O2 Arena for his first solo concert since last year’s Astroworld Festival. The two-night sold-out event kicked off around 9:30 p.m. local time with a stellar performance of “Hold That Heat.” Videos shared on social media showed Scott standing atop an elevated platform equipped with pyrotechnics. Of course, the audience were quick to match Scott’s energy, as they were seen jumping and cheering throughout the opener.

Scott went on to perform several more cuts before making his way off the platform. “Mamacita,” “God’s Country,” “Escape Plan,” and “Highest in the Room” were among the cuts that made the final setlist.

Scott will return to the stage Sunday night for his second O2 concert. His girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, and their four-year-old daughter, Stormi, are currently in London to support Scott during his big weekend. In a post-show recap on Jenner’s Instagram, James Harden and Kevin Durant were seen congratulating him.

The rapper has landed a number of gigs over the last several months, including a performance at the Billboard Music Awards and a surprise appearance at Rolling Loud Miami; however, the O2 shows mark his first headlining concerts since the deadly events at his Astroworld Festival in November 2021.

The Houston rapper is now preparing to launch his Road to Utopia experience—a multi-date residency at Resorts World Las Vegas’ Zouk Nightclub. The experience begins Sept. 17, and will be followed by Scott’s much-anticipated Utopia album.
