The wait for Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake has felt … well, eternal. Though we’ve yet to receive a solid release date, the Philadelphia rapper has kept fans satisfied with a number of singles and guest appearances; the latest of which is the TM88-produced “Slayyer.”
The song was first teased back in 2018 and eventually leaked back in April. TM88 confirmed the record’s release on social media, posting a snippet and a glimpse of the official artwork.
“Slayerr” arrives more than a year after Uzi Vert teamed up with the 808 Mafia producer on “Mood.” The track is expected to appear on TM88’s forthcoming project 88Effect.
“88 Effect is coming out. I’ve got a gang of artists on there, but it’s a different vibe,” he told HotNewHipHop this week. “I think the people are going to like it when it comes out. I took my time on it. I made sure everything was legit and on point […] I want more number ones. I want more top ten. More platinum records.”
