Watch Pusha T Campaign With Tim Kaine in Miami

Pusha T joined Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine on the campaign trail.

It’s been a big week for Pusha T. After releasing a couple new tracks—one with Mike Will Made-It, and the other with Desiigner and Ty Dolla Sign—the 39-year-old rapper hit the presidential campaign trail to encourage political involvement.

On Saturday, Pusha joined fellow Virginian and Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine at a block party event in Miami, where he also gave a speech on the importance of voting.

“You guys know that the stakes are high for Miami especially, Florida especially,” Pusha told the crowd. “We got to get the message out, we got to get out there and vote. We have to. We need to be heard, we need our voices to be heard. When we do get into those polls, we need to think about what’s important to us, what’s important for the community, and we need to pick Clinton and Kaine.”

Pusha has become an unlikely ally of Hillary Clinton’s over the past several months. Back in July, he released a T-shirt design inspired by the Democratic presidential nominee’s famous “Delete your account” tweet. He later teamed up with Clinton for contest that encouraged voter registration; however, not everyone approved of the partnership.

Despite the criticism, Pusha has continued his efforts to help Clinton get in the White House. You can check out his speech below.
