Teyana Taylor joins forces with King Combs on her latest single “How You Want It?”
The G.O.O.D. Music artist announced the track via Instagram earlier this week, and provided a sneak peek at its accompanying video, which she directed. Watch the full visual up top; it arrives days after she directed Schoolboy Q’s “Lies” video featuring Ty Dolla Sign and YG.
Teyana has not confirmed whether “How You Want It?” is a standalone record or if it’s single off her third studio album. The 28-year-old artist appeared on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show back in February, reassuring fans that a full-length project would arrive before the end of 2019.
“Not a might, it's definitely gonna come out this year,” she said. “I'm gonna do whatever I have to do to make sure it get out.”
Teyana went on to say that Kanye West will not entirely produce the upcoming album, unlike her 2018 release K.T.S.E.
"This one is a little bit of everybody," she said. "I want to kind of explore a little bit more, get a couple more people involved, to really, really bring to life my vision, and not just be set on one person or one sound.”
