T-Pain has shared another track off his long-awaited fifth studio album, Oblivion.

The song, titled "Textin’ My Ex" featuring singer-songwriter Tiffany Evans, finds T-Pain reflecting on a woman who got away and his struggle to get over her. Pretty much everything you’d expect from a T-Pain cut.

"There nothing more nerve-wrecking than watching those three dots mocking the fuck out of you for 20 minutes, then it’s just ... ‘kk’," T-Pain told Complex about the song.

You can stream "Textin’ My Ex" on Apple Music or download it on iTunes. The track is also up on Spotify.

The track arrives a week before Oblivion is scheduled to drop. T-Pain announced the LP’s release date earlier this week on social media. He also provided some details about the project in an August interview with XXL magazine, claiming it would be his last album under RCA.

"Definitely working on an album. It’s called Oblivion. A lot of it’s produced by Dre Moon, he’s a new producer," he said. "It was supposed to be a collab mixtape between him and I but then once some of the songs started getting to the label, the label was like, ‘Oh, this is a fucking album!’ And this would be my last album on the label. So, for them to accept this I’m like, Oh, alright I’m free after this."

Oblivion, which arrives Nov. 17, will be T-Pains first studio album since 2011’s Revolver. Earlier this year he dropped a collaborative mixtape with Lil Wayne titled T-Wayne.
