Eminem Drops New Single "Untouchable" Off Upcoming Album 'Revival'

The long-awaited album is available for pre-order.

As Revival edges its way towards release, Eminem is sharing another taster from the highly anticipated project. The latest cut is called "Untouchable." It samples Cheech and Chong's "Earache My Eye" and features Em rapping at length from the perspectives of a white police oppressor ("I keep tellin' myself keep doin' like you're doin’/No matter how many lives you ruin") and a black American ("Home of the brave is still Racistville/So this whole nation feels like a plantation field") to powerful effect. If "I'm Not Racist" got people talking, it'll be interesting to see what kind of waves Eminem can make with "Untouchable."

Em teased the drop on social media Thursday, just hours after he unveiled the album’s official cover in his hometown of Detroit. The art, which was projected on various buildings throughout the city, features that recognizable Revival typeface over an American flag. The image suggests Marshall is getting much more political with this album; however, nothing is confirmed at this point, as the rapper and his team have kept details to a minimum.

Denaun Porter, who produced multiple tracks on Revival, told Complex that the project was superior to Eminem’s last studio album, 2013’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

"I think it's better than the previous record. I'd put my money with that. I believe in this album completely, and not just for my contributions," Porter explained. "You're getting a lot of different versions of who Em is. A lot of the things that people love about him, they get a piece of every one of them on this album, that's what I would say."

"Untouchable" follows the previously released single "Walk On Water" featuring Beyoncé. You can listen to the new track now on Apple Music or iTunes. You can also listen on Spotify.

Revival, which is available now for pre-oder, is set to drop Dec. 15.
