Shy Glizzy went all out for his 2018 debut album Fully Loaded. The project spanned 19 cuts and was stacked with big-name features, such as Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Tory Lanez, Lil Durk, Rick Ross, Gunna, and Smokepurpp. It was an ambitious effort, no doubt; but when it came to the album’s follow-up, Covered N Blood, Glizzy chose to scale things back.
“It’s a deep, deep album,” he told HipHopDX this month. “It’s a really deep album. A lot of my music is like a diary. This one is about what I’ve been going through the last few months.”
Covered N Blood consists of 12-tracks and only two features: YoungBoy Never Broke Again and 3 Glizzy.

Fans can also catch the D.C. rapper on Gunna’s Drip or Drown 2 North American Tour. The trek kicked off in late March and will include stops in NYC, Boston, San Antonio, and Miami. Check out the full tour schedule below.
