Saweetie has reminded her followers not to make assumptions.
The “Icy Girl” rapper took to Twitter on Saturday to address the dating rumors surrounding her and fellow artist Roddy Ricch. Speculation of a romance was sparked Friday night, after she and Roddy were spotted sitting next to each other at the Lakers’ home game against the Phoenix Suns.
Saweetie seemingly shut down the rumors with the following tweet: “So avoid sitting next to men in public places otherwise the world assumes y’all are dating … got it,” she wrote.
It appears Roddy has yet to respond to the rumors.
Back in March, Saweetie confirmed she and Quavo had split after two years of dating. She said she had “checked out” of the relationship a long time ago, and suggested the breakup was due to Quavo’s infidelity.
“Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women,” she tweeted.
Back in August, the Complex cover star caught wind of reports that she had been spending time with her former-beau; however, she was quick to dismiss the report as a “Pinocchio ass article.”
