Livestream Post Malone's Nirvana Tribute Performance for COVID-19 Relief

Malone will match donations at up to $5 million, with all funds going toward the United Nations Foundation’s COVID-19 relief efforts.

Post Malone will honor one of his favorite bands while giving back during this time of need.

Tonight, the Hollywood's Bleeding artist is hosting an exclusive Nirvana tribute concert that doubles as a charity event. Malone will livestream his set via YouTube, while raising money for the United Nations Foundation's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. Posty has pledged to match donations at a 2:1 rate, up to $5 million.

Malone has saluted the 1990s grunge band on many occasions, performing some of their biggest hits on stage as well as getting a couple of Nirvana tattoos. He has the band's 1991 song title "Stay Away" inked on his forehead and a portrait of Nirvana's frontman, Kurt Cobain tattooed on one of his knuckles.

Cobain's widow, Courtney Love, co-signed the tribute stream in an Instagram post, thanking Malone and WHO for their efforts to combat the global pandemic.

"Thank you mighty [Kurt Cobain] for writing these songs with your elegant and monkeyed hands that the kids still want to sing and play and hear and use to fight and hunt and cure and heal and eradicate this fucking covid19 virus," she wrote. "I approve the usage. Good luck mr malone."

You can stream the tribute concert via Malone's official YouTube channel above.
