UPDATED 9/23, 1:20 p.m. ET: TMZ says the driver’s “world was turned upside down” after Lizzo blew up her spot. “This has scared the crap out of her,” the site writes. “She's afraid to leave her home and even go to work, for fear someone might harm her or even worse.”
The woman also told TMZ she never stole any food and actually went out of her way to try to ensure the order made its way to Lizzo’s Boston hotel room, although the room number wasn’t available.

Lizzo took to Twitter on Monday claiming a Postmates delivery driver stole her food. The "Truth Hurts" artist reached out to the company in a since-deleted tweet that included a screenshot of the app with the courier's photo.
"Hey @Postmates this girl Tiffany W. stole my food,” Lizzo wrote. "She lucky I don’t fight no more."
According to Us magazine, the tweet had received more than 39,000 likes and hundreds of comments, some of which criticized Lizzo's response as dangerous, irresponsible, and way too petty.

On Tuesday, Lizzo issued an apology for her accusatory tweets. She acknowledged that her response put the courier in danger, and vowed to be more "responsible with my use of social media."
Postmates claimed they contacted Lizzo after her initial complaints and "quickly resolved the issue."
A source told Rolling Stone that the courier waited at the designated drop-off location for the allotted five minutes. She eventually moved on to the next delivery after she was unable to contact Lizzo "or anyone else who placed the order."
