Lil Tecca is having a great year.
The Republic Records signee has continued to ride the success of his breakout single “Ransom,” a Nick Mira- and Taz Taylor-produced track that has received tens of millions of streams, a Juice WRLD remix, as well as a spot on the Hot 100 top five.
“The way things are going keep catching my surprise. Every day could be different, so I'm just going with the flow right now,” Tecca told Billboard about his rapid success. “But my last four drops on SoundCloud went to No. 1 on there. So when it was time to drop the ‘Ransom’ video, which was the most hyped song at the time, it just did what it was supposed to do.”
The rising rapper maintains the momentum this week with the release of his debut project, We Love You Tecca. The Queens native recently confirmed the drop on social media, sharing its official cover art and full tracklisting.
