Justin Bieber Defends Chris Brown and Says He's Michael Jackson and 2pac Combined

Justin Bieber has reiterated his support for Chris Brown.

A day after he was confirmed as a guest on Breezy's upcomingIndigo project, Bieber took Instagram to defend the singer's character and talent. Biebs illustrated his point with an image that compared Brown to the late artists Michael Jackson and 2Pac.

"Everyone wants to wait til people die to give them the credit they deserve," Bieber captioned the post. "I’m calling it now, when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time."

Bieber then alluded to Brown's violent history, suggesting the singer's art should not be dismissed because of "a mistake."

He continued: "The people who have overlooked this man's talent because of a mistake he made ... you need to reevaluate! Love you @chrisbrownofficial."

Brown's fall from grace began a decade ago, when he plead guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna. In the years since then, Brown has face multiple abuse allegations from various women: In 2013, Deanna Gines accused the singer of pushing her to the ground at an Orange County nightclub; in 2015, Brown was accused of third-degree assault after he was filmed forcibly pushing a woman off his tour bus; in 2016, Liziane Gutierrez claimed Brown had stole her phone and punched her in the face at a Las Vegas club; and in January of 2019, the singer was detained in Paris over drug and sexual assault allegations.

Shortly after Paris authorities released Brown, Bieber expressed his support for the embattled artist via social media: "No one can touch you ur the GOAT," he wrote to Brown on Instagram.
