The 30th episode of OVO Sound Radio delivered plenty of gems. We’re talking new music by everyone from Gucci Mane to Majid Jordan to Popcaan to SAFE; however, there was another track that generated a good amount of buzz on social media: dvsn’s remix of Frank Ocean’s “Godspeed.”
The original version is widely considered one of the standout tracks from Ocean’s Blonde album, with many praising it for its bare-bones sound. Thankfully for fans, dvsn took a similar approach. The duo added an infectious drum track as well as a new verse, while maintaining the song's minimalist vibe. It's more catchy than Ocean's version, but the original's mellow quality is till very much there.
