While we wait for Chance the Rapper’s purported new album, the Chicago artist has released another single to hold us over.
On Thursday afternoon, Chano announced he would drop a new track with fellow Chi-town rapper Reeseynem. The song, titled “What’s the Hook,” features an up-tempo, horn-drive beat courtesy of Nate Fox and TrapMoneyBenny. The pair also dropped a music video for the track. Watch it up top.
“Let me get a pass, get the-get the pass/Young boy on his path, leavin' running like a bath,” Chance raps in the opening verse.
It’s unclear if the record is standalone or if it’ll land on a full-length project. You can stream “What’s the Hook” below via SoundCloud. The track is also on Apple Music and Spotify.
Judging by this new single, you'll definitely want to keep your eyes on Reeseynem.
