BlocBoy JB is back with new music.

After dropping the visuals for “Ric Flair,” “Don’t Be Mad,” and “Holy Moly” last month, the Memphis rapper has unleashed his I Am Me mixtape. The effort spans 13 tracks and features guest appearances by Lil Durk and fellow Memphis MC Moneybagg Yo. The project also features the previously released cuts “Mercedes” and “House Party.”

BlocBoy celebrated the release Thursday with a special NYC event that included performances by Odalys, Stonie Blue, Hu Dat, and Sulay.

Fans can stream I Am Me now on a major platforms.

The effort marks BlocBoy’s first full-length release since 2018’s Don’t Think That.

The tape arrived more than a month after the 23-year-old artist was arrested on drug- and weapons-related charges. BlocBoy was taken into custody on May 3, just hours before he was set to perform at the Beale Street Music Festival in downtown Memphis. He was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
