Despite his ongoing legal battle with Lil Wayne, it appears Birdman still has plenty of love for the New Orleans rapper. Case in point? The series of birthday wishes Baby sent to Weezy on Instagram this week.

“HBD MY SON @liltunechi #BEFORE ANYTHANG #CMR uptownshit #BMJR #ymcmb4life #bloodlove," Birdman captioned the first of four posts—all of which were throwback photos.

Wayne, who turned 34 on Tuesday, has been feuding with Birdman since 2014, when Weezy began accusing the Cash Money boss of blocking the release of Tha Carter V. In 2015, Wayne filed a $51 million lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money, claiming he was stiffed out of advance money.

The birthday wishes came one day after a judge ordered Baby to provide financial records that would explain the whereabouts of the advance money he was supposed to split with Wayne. Birdman has 30 days to explain how the $70 million was spent. On Tuesday, Wayne was ordered to pay $160,000 to David Banner, after Young Money failed to pay the Mississippi rapper and producer for his work on Tha Carter III and the We Are Young Money compilation.

Lil Wayne's 34th may have been overshadowed by legal battles, but at least he got plenty of birthday love. You can check out Birdman's posts below.
