Ariana Grande surprised fans this week by announcing the early release of “God Is a Woman.”
The track, which was expected to drop July 20, is the latest single off Grande’s upcoming Sweetener album, following “No Tears Left to Cry” and “The Light Is Coming” featuring Nicki Minaj. Grande teased the record late last month, explaining it was about “sexual female empowerment & how women are literally everything.” She continued to hype up the release Wednesday by sharing a portion of its racy lyrics.

Ariana Grande performed her unreleased song "The Light Is Coming" featuring Nicki Minaj during iHeart Radio's Wango Tango in L.A. The song comes from Grande's forthcoming album 'Sweetener.'
“[God Is a Woman] is my favorite,” Grande tweeted. “It makes me cry every time I hear it, you guys r gonna shit. The whole album is fire.”
