Her dad may have been a little busy with the Democratic National Convention earlier this week, but that didn't stop Malia Obama from having some fun at Lollapalooza. She was spotted by some savvy Twitter users in the crowd during Cashmere Cat's performance Thursday.
Although the Secret Service was there keeping an eye on her, it looks like they weren't doing too good of a job considering she was right in the middle of the crowd with everyone. What is pretty cool to see is their casual Lolla fashion choices.
It's not surprising that a teenager would want to skip a stuffy party convention for a fun time at a music festival, but we're glad to see that Barack and Michelle are down with letting their daughter live a little. She's actually been to Lollapalooza before, spotted at the Chicago festival back in 2014 catching Chance the Rapper's set. She's also a known hip-hop fan; a leaked picture of her wearing a Pro Era shirt caused quite a stir back in 2015.
For some reason she actually caught some flak for skipping the convention, even though she's not a politician and her dad wasn't being nominated this time. Thankfully, other Twitter users came to her defense.
