When Janet Jackson announced last month that her Unbreakable world tour would be postponed, many fans were concerned as the music legend revealed she would have to undergo surgery. According to Radar Online, doctors reportedly discovered a growth on Jackson's vocal chords, and she is now currently being tested for throat cancer. A source claims "doctors found a growth on Janet's vocal chords that could be serious. It's a medical condition that has to be taken care of immediately."

Although her tour originally kicked off last August after the release of her No. 1 album, Unbreakable, Jackson has been forced to postpone performances twice. Back in October, she rescheduled two dates in order to "rest her vocal chords." In her December announcement, she hinted at a potential medical problem, saying, "I learned today from my doctors that I must have surgery soon... Please pray for me, my family, and our entire company during this difficult time."
