D.R.A.M. is back in his own lane. After putting all the drama of the "Cha Cha/Hotline Bling" incident behind him, the Hampton, Va. artist is continuing to soldier ahead with his unique brand of music. He released the well-receieved EP Gahdamn! last year, and dropped videos for songs like "2$" and "Caretaker" with SZA. Now, he's back with another Gahdamn! video, this time for "Signals (Throw It Around)."
The fun-loving clip finds D.R.A.M. bro-ing out with a costumed T-Rex, dancing through multicolored smoke, and getting down with the ladies. Sporting heart-shaped sunglasses and his signature locs, he grooves his way through the breezy clip. His Social Experiment Tour-mate Chance the Rapper even makes a cameo appearance, vibing out in a tricked-out convertible with the top down. Overall, the video really captures D.R.A.M.'s relaxed, optimistic aesthetic perfectly. With his mixtape #1EpicSequel on the horizon, he's poised to gain even more exposure this year.
