88rising's Head in the Clouds Festival is back.
This year's headliners include label signees Rich Brian, NIKI, Dumbfoundead, and Joji. The former two are in the middle of big career years: Rich Brian released his second studio album The Sailor, which features Joji and RZA, in July, while NIKI came back with new EP Wanna take this downtown? last spring. Non-label signees Jackson Wang (a member of K-pop group Got7) and DPR Live are also on the lineup.
The festival takes place as the label preps Head in the Clouds II. The last edition, which dropped last year, featured Playboi Carti, GoldLink, and Blocboy JB. There's no announcement on the sequel's cast, but 88rising has released NIKI's project cut "Indigo." They've also collaborated with First We Feast's Hot Ones to deliver the limited-edition Dragon in the Clouds hot sauce. It will be available for purchase at Head in the Clouds.
The second annual event, which is taking place in Los Angeles, can be streamed above via TIDAL.
