As his latest single “Wockesha” continues to climb the charts, Moneybagg Yo taps Lil Wayne and Ashanti for the remix of the A Gangsta’s Pain track.
It was only matter of time before Moneybagg enlisted Wayne, who made a cameo in the “Wockesha” video and whose voice (specifically from a 2009 interview with Tim Westwood) was sampled on the original offering.
Released in April on Moneybagg’s latest album A Gangsta’s Pain, “Wockesha” has experienced a steady rise on the charts, as it topped Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart last month en route to peaking at No. 11 on the the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for the week ending September 4. The track also earned Moneybagg his third Top 40 hit on the Hot 100, where it bowed out at No. 33 earlier this summer.
