Nearly a year after the release of his Blessed, I Guess album, Jacksonville rapper Lil Poppa returns with his new project Under Investigation 3.
The mixtape, which marks the third edition of Poppa’s Under Investigation series—following 2018’s Under Investigation and 2019’s Under Investigation 2—features guest appearances from Yo Gotti, Lil Duval, and Jdot Breezy.
Under Investigation 3 arrives just a week after Lil Poppa signed with Yo Gotti’s CMG label, joining a star-studded roster that includes Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, Mozzy, Blocboy JB, Blac Youngsta, and others.

In tandem with the release, the rapper announced plans to perform a fan appreciation show on Thursday at Atlanta’s The Masquerade. Additionally, Lil Poppa will team up with Jacksonville native Nardo Wick on June 3 to perform in their hometown at the Wicked-Wildchild Summer Bash event. Poppa will also make an appearance at Rolling Loud Miami on July 22.
