DDG returns with his new album It’s Not Me It’s You, the follow-up to his 2019 effort Valedictorian.

The 12-track project is highlighted by the previously released singles “Storyteller,” “If I Want You,” “Stay In My Circle,” and Elon Musk featuring Gunna, as well as guest appearances from Polo G (“9 Lives”), NLE Choppa (“9 Lives”), Babyface Ray (“The Clinic”), and Kevin Gates (“Love Myself”).

It’s Not Me It’s You arrives nearly three years after the release of DDG’s debut album, Valedictorian, which dropped in November 2019. Spanning 18 tracks, the LP featured guest appearances by Young Nudy, Blac Youngsta, G Herbo, YBN Nahmir, and Queen Naija.

Earlier this year, DDG made his relationship with Halle Bailey Instagram official. Bailey appears uncredited on It’s Not Me It’s You cut “If I Want You.”

The Michigan rapper took to the social media platform in March to wish Bailey a happy birthday. The post contained pictures of them kissing, standing by a mirror, and even DDG placing an enormous studded “Halle” necklace on her neck before embracing her with a hug.
