Fresh off joining forces with B-Lovee for their collaborative single “Boom Boom,” A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie returns with his latest offering, “Playa.”
The new song arrives as a two-track single; one featuring Grammy-award winning artist H.E.R., while the second is highlighted by a guest appearance from rising R&B singer Ella Bands. The latter version is accompanied by a music video directed by madebyJAMES and shot in the Bahamas, which you can watch up top.
Since dropping his B4 AVA EP in December, A Boogie has continued his momentum with a string of singles, “Hit Different,” “Boom Boom,” and “Playa.” The first two saw the 26-year-old rapper team up with fellow Bronx rapper B-Lovee, who’s fresh off a breakthrough year that saw him drop his viral hit “My Everything.”
In tandem with his recent prolific run, A Boogie is set to join the cast of the Proud Family revival alongside Lizzo, Chance the Rapper, Lil Nas X, and more.
