During an appearance on the Drew Barrymore Show last week, 50 Cent was asked about the random texts he receives from Eminem.
Barrymore, in an effort to experience first-hand if Em really responds to commonplace messages, asked 50 to send the Detroit rapper a text right then and there. The hip-hop mogul obliged, filming a video with the talk show host to send to Marshall.
“Yeah, we are on live TV. This big dog status stuff going on here,” 50 said in the video. “And look, I’m sending you videos of really hot, attractive women in them. You need to send me something back. I’d like to see a video in return.”
A week later, Fif took to Instagram to reveal what Eminem sent back.
“@eminem text me and was like hey i know i’m late to the party,” he captioned a video of his appearance on the talk show. “I just saw the @drewbarrymore show. Bro you are crazy, only you would do something like that. LOL.”
It isn’t the first time Fif has discussed the random texts he receives from Em. Last September, the Queens rapper detailed the unexpected messages he’ll occasionally receive from Mathers.
“To this day, you know what’s ill about Em, he hits me randomly. He texted me and he was like, ‘When you gone fly me a private so I can land on that dick?’” 50 said, referencing a lyric in his guest verse on Pop Smoke’s “The Woo.”
“You said a line that a bitch was supposed to say and made it sound cool,” 50 added, continuing to relay what was sent to him by Eminem. “’Oh, you was on some other shit.’ But he’ll stop doing what he’s doing to do that. That shit makes my day on a whole other level. Cause I’m like, that was random. I’m always gonna have love for him. That’s my guy.”
