If This Clip of Alexandra Shipp Performing As Aaliyah Is Any Indication, the Lifetime Biopic Will Be Terrible

This Saturday night, Lifetime will debut the "highly-anticipated" Aaliyah biopic, "Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B." As a teaser, Lifetime tweeted out a clip of Alexandra Shipp, the actress who's playing the late R&B star, performing "Got To Give It Up." Unfortunately, this two minute video leaves a lot to be desired.

First off, Shipp doesn't bring any sort of intensity to the role—and how absolutely boring does this performance look? Secondly, her voice doesn't resemble Aaliyah's at all. Twitter user @NFLBadwitch said it best:
