Miami Gardens is getting ready for another stacked weekend of live music as Jhené Aiko tops the bill for the 2026 Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival.
The annual event returns to Hard Rock Stadium on March 7 and 8, bringing together a mix of R&B, hip-hop, soul, gospel, and jazz that has become the festival's signature.
According to Rolling Stone, this year’s lineup leans heavily into R&B, with Aiko joined by fellow R&B chart staples Ella Mai, Mýa, and Joe.
Organizers say fans can expect a weekend built around feel-good vocals, emotional sing-alongs, and live musicianship that keeps the music front and center.
In addition to the R&B-heavy roster, the festival will also feature hip-hop performances from Ludacris and Nelly, along with a special appearance by Ashanti. GloRilla is also set to perform.
Veteran DJ D-Nice will host a curated set featuring SWV, Robin Thicke, Case, Sunshine Anderson, Kenny Burns, and Pastor Mike Jr. According to organizers, there is also “one major surprise guest” still to be announced as the festival approaches.
City officials say the event remains a major cultural draw. Miami Gardens Mayor Rodney Harris noted that Jazz in the Gardens brings people together in a way few events can, celebrating art, culture, and community while welcoming visitors from across the country.
The festival has a track record for memorable moments. Last year, Ms. Lauryn Hill headlined and surprised fans by bringing out Doechii for a joint performance of “Doo Wop (That Thing),” a moment that quickly went viral.
“Thank you, Miss Lauryn Hill. Thank you. My heart is so full. She is my hero. This is the greatest honor hip hop could give me. Praise God,” Doechii wrote at the time. “My entire body is vibrating with joy right now. I’ll never forget this day! EVER!”
