Harry Styles is well aware of the internet’s obsession with his hair—and he’s clearly not losing sleep over it.
During a recent appearance on Brittany Broski’s Royal Court, the former One Direction singer briefly addressed years of speculation in the most on-brand way possible: with a joke.
When asked if his teeth were fake, Styles answered, “No,” before adding, “This hairline, though…” The moment landed exactly as intended—playful, self-aware, and far from a serious admission.
The rumors themselves aren’t new. They date back to 2022, when a blind item posted by gossip account DeuxMoi suggested that an unnamed “A-list musician/occasional actor” had gone “almost completely bald” and was relying on a hairpiece. Online speculation quickly pointed toward Styles, and the theory spread across social media.
That same year, Styles addressed the chatter in an interview with Rolling Stone, making it clear he was aware of the noise. He said producer Kid Harpoon had been closely following the discourse, noting, “He won’t stop sending me messages about [people] trying to work out if I’m bald.”
Styles also dismissed the idea outright, adding, “My granddad wasn’t bald, so fingers crossed.”
Still, the conversation didn’t go away. In 2023, Styles debuted a buzzcut, ditching the longer curls that had become part of his signature look. The change sparked another wave of speculation, with some fans pointing to the shorter style as supposed proof of hair loss.
Around that time, his mother, Anne Twist, publicly shut down the rumors.
What’s been consistent, though, is Styles’ willingness to switch up his appearance. Over the years, he’s cycled through multiple hairstyles—from long, loose waves to shorter, more structured cuts—without ever confirming any of the theories attached to them.
Most recently, Styles stepped out at the 2026 Grammy Awards with a closely cropped mullet, continuing his pattern of experimenting with different looks. The appearance, like many before it, added to the conversation.
