Bunnie Xo is heading to the big house—and she’s not exactly keeping it quiet.
On the latest episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, which aired on Friday, November 21, the content creator and longtime wife of Jelly Roll told listeners she’ll be turning herself in after a traffic issue from years ago resurfaced in a major way.
“You guys, I’m going to jail,” Bunnie said at the top of the episode, adding that sharing the update was second nature. “Why would I not tell the internet this? I tell the internet everything anyways… your girl got in trouble with the law.”
Per Parade, the whole situation started when she was recently pulled over and informed that her driver’s license had been suspended.
The suspension traced back to an unpaid ticket from 2020—issued on her way home from a family trip in Alabama—that she didn’t remember receiving. “Do I remember getting this ticket? Absolutely not,” she told listeners.
Once she learned about the outstanding fine, she immediately paid it. But she assumed the payment cleared everything up, which turned out not to be the case.
Days later, after being stopped again—this time for speeding, a charge she joked she couldn’t “confirm or deny”—another officer told her the license was still not valid.
“He’s like, ‘Sometime this week, you need to go down to the jail and book yourself in,’” Bunnie explained. She emphasized that she had no idea she’d been driving on a suspended license for years, calling it an “arrestable offense” she didn’t knowingly commit.
While the mix-up means she now has to check in at what she called “the slammer, the pokey, the who-knows-what,” Bunnie is choosing to handle it with the same candor she brings to her show.
“I got my lawyer on it, whatever,” she said. “It looks like your girl is gonna have to go book herself in. If I do—you guys have seen all my past mugshots—I’m going in glammed the f–k up, baby, and I’m going to vlog it.”
