Young Thug finally came home in October after spending over two years behind bars over the YSL RICO case, and now he's confirmed his long-awaited first post-prison headlining live performance.

On Thursday, Lyrical Lemonade's Summer Smash festival announced its stacked 2025 lineup. Don Toliver and Yeat will headline the opening night of the festival, followed by Future on Saturday, and finally Young Thug on the closing night.

The festival is set to take place June 20 through June 22, with other performers including Chance the Rapper, Trippie Redd, Sexyy Red, Lil Yachty, and Quavo.

The festival will mark Young Thug's first headlining live show since his release from prison following a guilty plea in the lengthy RICO trial. The rapper has been relatively quiet since his release outside of a handful of guest features, working with frequent collaborators such as Lil Baby and Playboi Carti.

Following his performance at Summer Smash in June, Thug will also play the Les Ardentes festival in Liège, Belgium, and the Openair Frauenfeld festival in Frauenfeld, Switzerland.

Earlier this year, Metro Boomin indicated that he and Thugger have worked on Thug's highly-anticipated first studio album following his release. While behind bars in 2023, the rapper dropped Business Is Business, which Metro executive produced.

It's unclear when fans can expect to hear the project, but it's clear that Thug's gearing up to make a triumphant return this year.
