Watch Quavo Focus on Phone While His Tesla’s Autopilot Handles the Driving

In a post on Instagram on Thursday, Quavo showcased one of the biggest advantages of the autopilot function included with his Tesla Model X.

Quavo showcased the advantages of the autopilot function on his Tesla Model X on Thursday.

The Migos rapper shared a video on Instagram, above, showing him on his phone alongside the caption “No txtin and drivin!”

Filmed from the passenger’s seat, the brief clip showcases the fancy customized interior of the SUV as Quavo texts and even covers his eyes with his hoodie as the vehicle continues to drive. The clip also appears to tease a new song, but it’s unclear if it’s an upcoming solo joint or a Migos track.

As pointed out by Auto Evolution, the rapper sought to get his Model X decked out with a custom look in 2020 when he contacte West Coast Customs. The crew at the shop completely disassembled the vehicle, which was later covered in red detailing. The interiors, meanwhile, feature red leather and diamond stitching. And of course Quavo made sure to kit out the Tesla with a beefier sound system.

This week it was announced that Quavo is set to start in an action-thriller called Takeover, which will be produced by Quality Control’s new film branch Quality Films. While he’s dabbled in acting in the past, notably making cameo appearances in Atlanta and Narcos: Mexico, the movie will be his first starring role. Takeover promises to follow Quavo in the role of Guy Miller, a former crook looking to get his life back on the right track.
