Vince Staples reflected on the damage caused in the Los Angeles area by wildfires and made it clear he's staying put.

"Whole neighborhood burnt down but we still thuggin," he wrote. He also claimed that he was offered $1 million in cash for his Los Angeles property after fires devastated the region. "White devil offered a M cash for the land he must've thought I was one of them other n***as," he shared in another tweet.

Vince also tweeted a call to action, sharing a message with a link to the California Community Foundation. "Long Beach is making a pledge to the California Community Foundation. Anything helps!," he wrote.

Nearly 180,000 people were under evacuation orders in the region in the last week, with at least 25 confirmed deaths, per The Los Angeles Times. Several celebrities have revealed that their homes were impacted by the fires, including Paris Hilton, YouTubers Colin Rosenblum and Samur Chaudry, and This Is Us star Milo Ventimiglia.

As the fires raged on, with inmates among the droves of firefighters aiding the response, an old clip of Vince discussing the state of home insurance in California on Joe Budden's eponymous podcast resurfaced. "California not insuring houses anymore," he said. "'Cause of climate change." He said that the only option for many homeowners is to take subsidized insurance that they will need to pay up-front, which many people can't afford.

"There are areas where there have never been wildfires [and] now are like high fire zones," he continued. "It's getting wicked. ... It was like $15,000. Everybody don't have [15 grand]."
