It's only been a month since the Weeknd dropped My Dear Melancholy, but he's already teasing a very exciting collaboration over on his Instagram. As pointed out by Twitter users, the Weeknd has been in the studio with Metro Boomin.
The Weeknd also teased a collaboration last week, showing himself Facetiming Young Metro.
Fans have been speculating that the Weeknd's next project will be titled we're alone together, although there's not a lot of evidence to support the theory. Regardless, it does seem like he has something new coming soon. Metro Boomin was previously credited on Starboy's "Six Feet Under."
The news still comes as a bit of surprise after Metro announced earlier this month that he was "Retired from rap." Of course, it worth pointing out there's still the Perfect Timing 2 collaboration with Nav that the Canadian rapper promised, and whatever it is he's working on alongside Future, Young Thug, and Joe Moses.
