Suge Knight Says Diddy Should ‘Definitely Walk’ Free at Conclusion of Trial

The Death Row Records co-founder previously said he thinks Donald Trump would pardon Diddy if he's convicted.

In a conversation with Chris Cuomo for NewsNation, Suge Knight said that he thinks Diddy should "definitely walk" free following his sex trafficking and racketeering trial.

"I say this all the time, Puffy and I are not friends," said Knight of his former record label rival. "But Puffy should definitely walk." The Death Row Records co-founder is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter, and said that he knows Diddy's former assistant Capricorn Clark, who recently testified in court. He claimed that, because of the things he's heard, Diddy should not be the only person to take the stand.

"For Puffy to be the only guy that gets on the stand is a sad day for hip hop," he said, claiming that Reggie Wright Jr. forced Clark to have sex with people on multiple occasions. "We just can’t jump to conclusions and say throw Puffy under the bus. Like I said, him and I are not friends, but Puffy should definitely walk. What’s right is right, wrong is wrong."

His latest comments come not long after he told Cuomo that Diddy could call him "some favors with the government" and potentially get a pardon from Donald Trump.

"I don't think he has nothing to worry about, and I don't think he's worried because he's gonna be federal, and if he gets convicted, Trump's gonna pardon him," he told Cuomo earlier this month. "I feel that Puffy is going to be alright and have a fair shot at it. He's not a dummy. I'm quite sure somebody is going to talk to those jurors and convince one or two of them.
