Snoop Dogg isn’t afraid of being canceled.

While talking to Druski in his Behind The Vest Clubhouse room, the rapper said he wants to see someone “try to cancel me.”

At the 46:30 mark of the chat, Druski brought up “this cancel culture bullshit,” and asked Snoop how he felt about it.

“I wish a motherfucker would try to cancel me,” he said, adding that cancel culture only works “if you believe it when they tryna cancel you.” He then referenced two individuals who’ve faced their fair share of criticism recently; DaBaby for his brief homophobic rant at Rolling Loud Miami, and Dave Chappelle for his comments about the trans community in his special The Closer.

“’Cause you see DaBaby, you see David Chappelle,” he said. “You see certain motherfuckers, like, ‘If you don’t get out of here with that shit.’ Gimme a week n***a I’ll be back up, you know what I’m saying? You gotta believe it. You gotta know that your base is your base. You can’t—the cancel community is not bigger than my fan base. I beg to differ. Let’s match up n***a… Cancel community meet up. Line up. Cancel community, I need you n***as to line up.”

Snoop has also faced his fair share of controversy in recent years. In February 2020, he apologized after he directed harsh comments at Gayle King following her interview with Lisa Leslie, in which they talked about Kobe Bryant following his death. He also courted controversy after he called for the release of Bill Cosby, who has been accused of rape and sexual misconduct by approximately 60 women.

Closer to the end of the interview, the always-prolific Snoop was asked how often he gets feature requests. “Shit, it depends, because I be getting features from n***as that got $35,” he said at the 59:30 mark of the interview. “I be getting calls from the biggest artists in the world. I got a group named BTS that’s waiting on me to do a song with ‘em right now, and I’m trying to figure out if I got time to do this shit. They want me to do the video and all kind of shit.”
