Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro have teamed up for the collaborative three-song project RR, and they used their new music video to announce their engagement.
The DIY video for “Beso” features the couple as they share tender moments in private, perform together on stage, and travel the world together. As the clip comes to an end, the music begins to fade out as they officially confirm their engagement.
“Oh my God,” she whispers to Alejandro through tears while showing her ring finger. “I love you.” The huge announcement comes alongside a new EP, which features “Beso” alongside two other tracks, “Vampiros” and “Promesa.”
“For us it’s always love first and everything else later, but we skipped that this time so we could finish RR and share it with the world,” Rosalía said in a statement. “After more than 3 years these 3 songs are here and each one of them belongs to a different stage of love.”
Rosalía and Alejandro have collaborated in the past through songwriting and production credits, but this is the first time they’ve appeared as credited artists together.
The couple were first linked together in August 2021, and went Instagram official just one month later. Fans speculated they were engaged last year, when they were spotted vacationing on the Greek island of Santorini. In photos that surfaced at the time, Rosalía was seen sporting a vibrant diamond on her ring finger.
