Rosalía has given fans yet another taste of her upcoming album Motomami with the dance-heavy video for her new track, “Chicken Teriyaki.”

The latest album cut, which follows the release of “Saoko” and “La Fama,” is the most direct yet. With a stripped-back instrumental, the bouncy track is accompanied by a video that keeps it simple, too. Directed by Tanu Muino, the video shows Rosalía in a dance studio as she and other dancers effortlessly go from one routine to the next.

Upon premiering the track on Apple Music 1, Rosalía told Zane Lowe that she was “just having fun” while writing the track. “There’s irony in the lyrics,” she said. “This song happened in the Mercer Hotel in New York. Because they don't complain of the music being loud. They really don't. Nobody complains. So it's really easy, you can have the speakers and yeah. And it has a vibe. When you go to the street, you see some fashion, then you go back to the hotel. New York in general, I would say New York, though. New York, everybody dresses amazing.”

Motomami is set to arrive on March 18, which the Spanish singer will mark with a Saturday Night Live performance on March 12. The episode will be hosted by Zoë Kravitz, as NBC recently revealed on social media. She previously appeared as a guest performer alongside Bad Bunny to perform their track “La Noche De Anoche.”
