In a recent interview with Big Boy on Real 92.3 LA, Young Thug spoke on his complicated relationship with his idol Lil Wayne. "I don't know, I don't think that n***a like me," he responded when asked about how things are between him and Weezy. "I don't know why, though."

Lil Wayne's daughter Reginae Carter seemingly responded to these comments from Thugger, although she didn't specifically call him out by name. In a since-deleted tweet, Carter said, "If you're a rapper and you think my father doesn't like you... that's not the case always." She continued, "He probably really just don't know you. Lol or don't care yo get to know you. No beefs. He really just be on his shit and only that. No clout chasing cause that's not a part of his job."

Meanwhile, Thug is on track to score a No. 1 record on the Billboard 200 with his new album So Much Fun.

It's worth mentioning that Reginae Carter and YFN Lucci, with whom Thug is currently in the middle of a feud, have been an item as of late. Lucci recently claimed he had slept with Thug's longtime girlfriend Jerrika Karlae numerous times; Karlae completely denied it. Carter, meanwhile, has not gotten involved, but with this comment she might be right in the middle of it sooner rather than later.

In his interview with Big Boy this week, Thug said, "It's no hard feelings, I hope he gets richer than me." He continued, "I have no problem with nobody. We had problems before where we done disagreed on, but it's not a problem to where it's like, 'I hope he die.' Like, hell nah. We just have fun with it, I don't know if he feels same."
