Ahead of second season finale of HBO's Succession, it has been revealed that Pusha-T remixed the show's theme song. As announced by Vulture, composer Nicholas Britell commissioned King Push for the remix to help drum up hype for the highly anticipated finale.

"There was only one person on the list of people to reach out to. Of course it had to be Pusha. There was no backup, there was no plan B," Britell explained. "Pusha’s voice is like a missile!"

The full remix will drop Friday, Oct. 11, before Season 2 comes to an end on Sunday, but the G.O.O.D. Music president has already offered a teaser of what's to come.

Push first heard of Succession after his manager made a reference to Logan Roy, who the rapper admitted he was a "little bit" like. Britell was pitched the idea after they both met at a Pharrell recording session in Los Angeles, but initially the rapper had to rewrite his verse after HBO complained he gave away too much of the then-unreleased Season 2.

"I was like, 'How, I didn’t even see it?’" he joked. "So I tweaked some things because the lines were a bit too detailed. I think [Nick] didn’t want to ask me to redo anything. Ordinarily, I probably wouldn’t have. But, I mean, the show is dope."

Speaking on why he enjoys Succession so much, Push added, "The greed, the resentment, the idea anybody is basically disposable—that’s a gangsta movie type of quality. On Succession, it’s involving family, it’s like, Whoa! It’s a bit more shocking."
