Rapper Plies has seemingly shared a response to the news of Britney Spears' divorce from Sam Asghari after previously showing love for her dance videos on Instagram.
In a video shared on both Instagram and the social media network formerly known as Twitter, Plies appeared to be enthusiastic about the news. "Baby One More Time... Send Me a Sign Baby!!!" he captioned the clip, in which he sings along and provides ad-libs to the 1998 hit song, "Baby One More Time."
Britney Spears' husband Sam Asghari filed for divorce this week after just over one year of marriage. He cited "irreconcilable differences" in his filing to end their marriage and listed the date of their separation as July 28. He is seeking spousal support and attorney fees, but he could also contest the prenup he signed ahead of tying the knot. Spears, meanwhile, has hired famous divorce attorney Laura Wasser, whom she previously hired when fighting for custody of her children with ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2008.
Plies has routinely commented on Spears' more racy videos on Instagram, typically in a supportive manner. In fact, he was overjoyed when she shared a video of her pole dancing to Nine Inch Nails' "Closer" earlier this week.

You know what I’m waitin’ on, Brit! Brit! Go to pound town Brit!” He then dropped his phone before singing along to the Nine Inch Nails track briefly. "She know I like that shit," he laughed.
