Migos have had a stellar year all things considered, and with Quavo's debut solo record already out and both Takeoff and Offset's on the way, their juggernaut 2018 is far from over. However, TMZ reports that they've found themselves the target of a lawsuit claiming their Culture II song "Walk It Talk It" is a copy of a similar song from 2007 titled "Walk It Like I Talk It."

Rapper M.O.S., real name Leander C. Pickett, says he recorded "Walk It Like I Talk It" all the way back in 2007, and now he's alleging that Migos have infringed upon his song with the 2018 Culture II single. Suing both Migos and Capitol Records, Pickett is seeking unspecified damages, hoping to stop the trio from making money off the track going forward.

The songs do sound quite similar, although unfortunately for him he says he only filed for copyright of the song earlier this year in March. That could have little to no impact on the outcome, however, depending on how the lawsuit moves forward.

It is a very common phrase, so whether it's exactly seen as plagiarism remains to be seen, but Pickett's track doesn't sound quite as close to "Walk It Talk It" as the incredible Seuss "Wocket in my Pocket" parody.
